Why did I choose to work at a dental office?
I wanted a change of scenery and something more professional where my role actually mattered.
I chose to become a dental assistant as a first step to gain experience in the field of dentistry and to work towards my goal of becoming a dental hygienist. I enjoy this field because it allows me to work closely with patients and play a role in helping them get their oral health back on track. I also like working at my current office because the team is supportive and makes each workday flow smoothly, which creates a positive environment.
I love being a dental assistant because I get to help people every single day. It's such a great feeling knowing that I am making someone's dental visit a little easier, a little less scary, and a lot more comfortable. But what I enjoy most is the connection with the patients.
Other than dentistry, I love going to the movies with my family, spending quality time with friends, and going out to eat. I like exploring new places and trying different restaurants, as well as simply relaxing and enjoying good company.
